Case Breaker Privacy Policy

Case Breaker is a Shopify app that moves stock between a single-unit product and a box after in-store sales and refunds.

Data the app stores

The app stores:

• The shop domain
• The staff session used to access Shopify, including the access token, name, and email
• Rules you save, including product titles, variant ids, and units per box
• An activity log with order id, location id, variant id, quantities, and error text

The app reads products, inventory, in-store orders, and refunds from Shopify to do that work. It does not store customer name, email, address, or payment details.

How data is used

This data is stored in a database hosted on Render and is used only to run the app. It is not sold.

Deletion

When the app is uninstalled, or when Shopify sends a shop deletion request, rules, activity logs, and sessions for that shop are deleted. The app does not keep customer personal data, so a customer data request returns no customer records.
